Contact Form

When you submit an enquiry, we collect:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company name (optional)
  • Budget (optional)
  • Your message

Ada, Our AI Chat Assistant

If you chat with Ada, the AI assistant available on this website, we collect the full text of your conversation. If you choose to share your name and contact details so Lee can follow up personally, we collect and store those too. You are never required to use Ada or to share contact details through it — you can always use the contact form instead.

Analytics

If you accept cookies, we collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, time on site, traffic source) via Google Analytics 4. This data does not personally identify you. No analytics data is collected if you decline cookies.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only with:

  • Netlify Forms — used to securely receive and store contact form submissions so leeday.uk can respond to enquiries.
  • Anthropic, PBC — messages you send to Ada are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate a reply. Anthropic acts as our data processor for this purpose and does not use your conversation to train its models. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details.
  • Google Analytics — if you consent to cookies, anonymised usage data is shared with Google LLC. Google may transfer data internationally. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
  • Legal authorities — if required by law or court order.

We will never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 2 years, or until you request deletion.
  • Ada chat conversations: Retained for up to 12 months. If you share your details for a follow-up, that enquiry is retained on the same basis as a contact form submission (up to 2 years, or until you request deletion).
  • Client project data: Retained for 6 years after project completion (for accounting and legal compliance).
  • Analytics data: Retained by Google Analytics per their default data retention settings (up to 14 months).

6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — withdraw cookie consent at any time via your browser settings.
